We invest capital in lower middle-market companies principally located in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. We seek niche opportunities and focus primarily in industries where we have experience - light manufacturing, financial services, and industrial services. We are not a typical private equity firm and have the flexibility to hold investments beyond the typical 3-­5 year target horizon.

• Webb Jennings

• Webb is the founder and President of Salt Investment Partners. From 2007-2015, he served as vice president at Hancock Park Associates, a Los Angeles based private equity firm focused on middle market investment opportunities. Prior to Hancock Park, Webb held a variety of corporate finance and capital markets related positions. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of CoreServ Solutions LLC, Able Industrial, Able Tool & Rental, Allocation Specialists LLC, Alloy Merchant Finance, and Independent Bank Group (NASDAQ: IBTX) as well as a privately-held, diversified investment holding company. He also serves as a director of several local foundations and charitable organizations. Webb holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Webb enjoys traveling with his family and outdoor activities including tennis, golf, hunting and fishing. He is married and has two daughters ages 10 and 12.

• Jason Van Lue
• Jason joined Salt in July 2016 as an operating partner. Prior to Salt, Jason served as the Senior Subsea Superintendent for Vantage Drilling. At Vantage, Jason managed Subsea operations and budget decisions for three Deepwater Offshore drill ships. Prior to Vantage, Jason worked for Cameron International, where he held variety of operating positions and was promoted to Senior Management. As a senior manager, Jason supervised Cameron’s Aftermarket Operations including all operations and financial responsibility for four multi-million dollar departments and over 150 direct reports. Prior to Cameron, Jason spent two decades working in the aviation industry in a variety of positions from line maintenance to management. Jason is a devoted husband and father to three. Most weekends, he can be found at a ballpark, either watching his boys play, or taking them to watch high school, college, and professional games. When not at a ballpark, he can be found watching his beloved Texas Longhorns from the comfort of his back porch. While Jason was raised in the mountains of Colorado, since living on the gulf coast (and marrying a Cajun), he has learned to boil a mean pot of crawfish!
